RASTER DATA DESCRIBING THE SYNTAX FONT IS SUPPLIED WITH
THIS RELEASE OF OBERON AND MAY BE USED ONLY IN
CONJUNCTION WITH THE OBERON SOFTWARE. ANY OTHER
USE OF THE SYNTAX FONT REQUIRES A LICENSE FROM LINOTYPE AG.
PostScript versions of the fonts in the Syntax family are available
from Linotype, Inc. and its subsidiaries.
This directory contains the following subdirectories:
SPARC contains the Sun-SPARC version.
MacII contains the Apple-Macintosh-II version.
DECstation contains the DECstation version.
RS6000 contains the IBM RS/6000 version.
Windows contains the Windows 3.1 and Windows NT version for Intel 386
SiliconGraphics contains the SGI version.
HP700 contains the version for HP Apollo Serie 700
Docu contains general Oberon documentation (not related to
a particular implementation) as compressed postscript files.
Sources contains source code from various Oberon books.
In particular, it contains all source listings from the books
"Programming in Oberon", "Project Oberon" and
"Objektorientiertes Programmieren in Oberon-2".
Tools contains various tools for Oberon in source form.
System3 newer Oberon version for the various machines.
Note that Oberon/System3 is not fully upward compatible
with the existing Oberon documentation, but due to a
sophisticated (optional) graphical user interface the system
that is more appropriate for end-user applications.
See the readme files in the appropriate subdirectory for
further important notes.
